What is the process when we start working on UI UX design?
- A client makes a request. We get to know each other and communicate. What are the problems that UI UX design should solve?
- We start with preliminary work, independently getting to know the brand, its customers and their needs. We ask and research, and if necessary, interview, so that the result is as user-friendly as possible.
- We establish the structure of the website on the desktop (desktop view) based on the target users. (User Experience Design, or UX)
- Once the structure is in place and confirmed, we start designing the appearance of the user interface on the desktop, or UI. This includes choosing fonts and color palettes, selecting images from the client’s resources or image banks that we have access to.
- Once the desktop views are confirmed, we start creating a scalable design, or designing for mobile devices. This is where the different screen sizes on mobile phones and tablets come into play. On mobile, the screen is much smaller, and organizing information and presenting it in a user-friendly way is more challenging.
- Once the design is complete, a testing phase takes place, where the client reviews the solution and we make the necessary corrections to the design.
- The design goes into development and the designer reviews whether the design in development matches what he created in the design environment.

- We created a new visual identity.

- We chose suitable fonts, designed templates, mapped out the user journey (on the right)
- We created interface visuals, animation concepts, and a custom visual diagram of the client’s workflow.

In UI UX design, the basics must be in place
But what is good UI UX design? It largely depends on the client, but we can point out some universal details that should be followed. For example, there is no getting around the fact that the design is responsive, meaning it works on every possible device and browser. Everyone is fast these days, and the page/app/software loading speed must also be fast. How to implement all the desired design solutions and user comfort without losing speed? UI UX design must find a solution to this problem. One aspect that all users appreciate is a regular and understandable content menu. To make it understandable to users, we test our solution with both experts and beginners in the subject. Overall, all the information on the page must be well organized and there should not be too much of it at once and in long blocks, as this quickly distracts the reader.

The client had tried twice with a web developer to create a new and beautifully designed website, but both times the project failed due to the partner’s lack of design and development experience. A good solution takes time and cooperation
If you want a great UI UX design for your website/app/software, you still need to consider a few things. First of all, first-class work takes some time. You should rather be critical of those providers who promise results in a couple of days. It is obvious that in this case not enough effort is put into the work. The client must also be ready for cooperation. For a good UI UX design, just one e-mail or call is not enough. Rather, it requires a constant dialogue between the client and the provider to find out all the client’s needs. But all this is still so that the result of the work is as good as possible and the client is happy on the website or app.
How to choose a UI/UX designer?
See if the designer has done similar projects to what you need in the past. Meet and chat and see if they ask you the right questions, try to understand what you need, and offer you solutions that you are satisfied with.
How much does UI/UX design cost?
The hourly rate for a UI/UX designer is generally 50-60€ per hour. The hourly rate for a senior level UI/UX designer can be around 100€, and a senior UI/UX designer does their work 2-5 times faster than a junior. In addition, the end result is many times higher quality.
